I’m your Healing Hype Girl!

And I’m your biggest fan

Hi! I’m Nisha (she/her). I’m a life coach for liberatory dreamers who want build capacity so they can show up instead of freeze up.

Let’s grow, relate, and liberate together. A better world is a more vulnerable one.

But it isn’t always easy, and we need each other

Healing isn’t “fixing” - you are not broken

Where do you hurt and how is it linked to colonization, white supremacy, patriarchy, assimilation, white supremacy, heteronormativity, and ableism?

These forces tell us that we are not worthy or enough. These forces tell you that you need to work harder and faster and that you should be more and better.

But they are wrong…

YOU ARE WORTHY. YOU ARE ENOUGH. JUST AS YOU ARE.

Your ancestors have been waiting for you to break generational cycles and to live a life with ease and relief. When you do this, you effect yourself AND future ancestors.

You are the answer your ancestors needed

Compassion, community, curiosity, vulnerability, and accessibility are carved into the crevices of my heart. These values guide my commitment to your liberation.

find the magic already within you

I provide several portals to healing and liberation. Hire me as your life coach or to speak at your organization and check out my course about being trauma-informed in libraries.

Niro says...

“Nisha was able to really hear what I had to say without the distraction of her idea of who I am. She helped me figure out what I want and need right now, and that has helped me leave behind old habits and ideas I had inadvertently tied my identity to.”

I support people who dream of a better world and liberation to show up for themselves so they can also show up for their communities. If you’re anything like me, it helps to have a mirror and someone to reflect back to you so you can move through what is coming up for you. We work deconditioning from colonialism and capitalism, tending to trauma, guilt, and shame, moving toward your purpose, and more.

As a published writer, I love to share my story of being a Brown girl who defied cultural norms, healed my mother wound, and pursued life on my own terms while also caring for the collective. I talk about creating healthy boundaries, being a non-conformist, well-being, collective care, and relational living. Need a motivational speaker that inspires your audience to heal? As a former librarian and library director, I saw first hand how library workers weren’t equipped with the right tools to cultivate safety for patrons and library workers.

I decided to create a self-paced course for participants to process the topic of trauma in their own time. The impacts of this course include higher employee morale, improved conflict navigation, and a human-centered library.

About Nisha Mody

Nisha Mody (she/her) is your Healing Hype Girl. She’s a Life Coach, Writer, and Speaker living on the home of the Gabrieliño/Tongva peoples, also known as Los Angeles. She has also worked as a consultant, recruiter, voiceover artist, speech-language pathologist, and librarian - while these seem like careers from different walks of life, they have a common thread: connecting with the needs of other humans.

Nisha loves to use her voice and connect with others. As the daughter of Indian immigrants, she experienced the deep internalization of colonization and heteronormative structures. Her lived experience, clinical experience, fascination with language, relational living, and passion for connecting with others combined with her commitment to liberation are central to her work.

Nisha dreams of living in a compassionate and relational world where people attune to their body, feel seen and heard, and increase their capacity for self-trust. She’d love to hear what kind of world you’d like to live in!
